Gig: Psychofan

Psychofan is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077.

Walkthrough[]

V is tasked by Sebastian Ibarra to steal a guitar belonging to former Samurai member Kerry Eurodyne, which came in the possession of Gaston Slayton, a Samurai superfan.

When V enters the apartment building on Los Lobos Street and takes the elevator up to the 17th floor, there are two ways to break into Gaston Slayton's apartment. The first is to simply break in through the front door, which requires a high level of Technical Ability. Otherwise, you must access the apartment via the balcony, which involves getting to the roof. To do so, go to the fire exit at the right of the apartment door and go up the stairs until you reach the apartment roof. From there, go straight ahead to the edge of the building, where you will see the apartment's balcony below you. Disable or note the security camera before dropping to the balcony below, where you can enter an unlocked door to the apartment.

While inside the apartment, V can freely explore his surroundings without the risk of being caught, noticing various Samurai concert posters and vintage guitars, although Johnny Silverhand will call them "hot trash". Proceeding upstairs will take V to Slayton's bedroom along with a suitcase containing the Iconic item "Johnny's pants", and a shrine room containing Kerry's guitar. the door to the shrine is protected by a keypad, the code for which can be found on a still with the guitar in it with the date "2065". Simply enter the code (or force the door open with a Body attribute check), take the guitar. There is a computer in the bedroom locked via a keycode; although it doesn't unlock from the same code, entering the code into the door panel also appears to unlock the computer to check the messages showing Gaston wanted to get surgery to look like Johnny's band mate Kerry. V can also jack into the computer to get additional information. Exit the apartment building and head to Drop Point to deposit the guitar, completing the gig.

Journal Entry[]

There was this band in the 20's, Samurai, maybe you've heard of them - talentless bunch of angsty, skezzed out kids who thought they were actually making music. For some reason, people nowadays still listen to them. One more reason why this world's going to shit and the end times are near.

I'll cut to the chase - my client wants to get his hands on Kerry Eurodyne's guitar, one of the members of Samurai. Weird gig, I know, but the eddies are legit, and that's all that matters.

I tracked down the guitar - it's owned by one Gaston Slayton. Guy's obsessed with Samurai and is a collector of the band's memorabilia. Getting into the building shouldn't be a problem - you'll have access to the elevator. Only thing is, Slayton's unit will probably be tightly secured - Eurodyne's guitar is his prized possession. Objectives[]

Get inside the building.
Go to apartment 1702 on the 17th floor.
Find Kerry Eurodyne's guitar.
Get inside the shrine room.
Enter the code 2065. [Optional]
Take Kerry Eurodyne's guitar.
Leave the building.
Deposit the guitar in the Drop Point.

Notes[]

Judging by a shard found close to Villa Eurodyne, the guitar was stolen from Kerry Eurodyne's property per drone and later recovered.
By reading Kerry Eurodyne's computer messages, it can be assumed that Kerry himself wanted the guitar back.
