Gig: Playing for Keeps is a gig in Cyberpunk 2077.
Walkthrough[]
Regina Jones sends V to the Kashuu Hanten eatery in Little China, a front for a Tyger Claws operated illegal casino, to retrieve an implant a man named Jacob Lamb gambled away.
After arriving in front of the eatery, V can take the alley to the right and enter through the back door guarded by a Racketeer. Once inside, there is a Kunoichi around the corner to the left and the implant is locked in the storage room. The door can be forced open passing a 5 Body check. Otherwise, scanning it will add the optional objective to find the bar staff key. Either way, after opening the door, V can take the implant, leave through the back door and deposit it in the Drop Point to complete the gig.
Alternatively, if V checks the file on the computer, they will find out the Tyger Claws have been using their own implants to rig the games and win against the gamblers. This will add the optional objective of blackmailing the bartender. To do so, V must leave through the alley and return to the front door. Once confronted with the acquired evidence, the bartender will give Jacob Lamb's implant to V, but says they are both not welcome there anymore.

- Got a call from Jacob Lamb - friend of mine, director, from the good ol' days. Ex-director, I should say. Ever since Bushido X made a loss of a billion, the guy never set foot on a set again.
- Jacob makes a living playing cards. One time he tried his luck at an illegal Tyger Claws casino at the back of the Kashuu Hanten eatery. Things weren't looking good, but instead of getting up from the table, he waited until he'd recoup. First went all his money, then his watch, wedding ring... And finally, one of his optics.
- Jacob wants his implant back. Sending you the coordinates of the casino where he lost it. AFAIK, the eye's still there. How you get it is your biz, not mine.
Objectives[]
- Go to the Kashuu Hanten bar in Little China.
- Find Jacob Lamb's implant.
- Find the bar staff key. [Optional]
- Blackmail the bartender to give you the implant. [Optional]
- Steal Jacob Lamb's eye.
- Deposit the implant in the Drop Point.
Notes[]
- If blackmailed, the bartender will stop offering his services after completing the gig.
Bugs[]
- The Tyger Claws inside can sometimes get stuck in a combat mode.
- It is possible to obtain a second copy of Jacob Lamb's Eye after stealing the first one, even after completing the gig by blackmailing the barkeeper.
