On a Tight Leash is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077.

Walkthrough

There are numerous Valentinos stationed throughout the area, including one with a sniper rifle on the main building roof. The side of the building has a ladder, while the interior has a set of stairs, both leading to the roof/second floor. The target in question is inside the second floor and is possible to be hit through the window, though it will make the optional goal harder.

Inside, two Militech vehicles can be scanned, plus several shelves of Militech uniforms, and crates of Militech ammunition, which triggers some choice comments by Johnny. If the target is approached stealthily, a conversation between them and an unknown Arasaka agent can be heard, detailing a plan to have José's people attack an Arasaka facility while dressed as Militech. This isn't enough to satisfy the optional goal, which requires examining the computer near where José is found, and choosing to tell the truth when the Padre calls.

If José is incapacitated rather than killed, he must be carried out of the facility and deposited in a car trunk near the street. For all the effort this takes, the payment is not any greater.

Journal Entry

A few weeks ago a police officer was shot dead. Same old story - some Valentino kids got into a scrap with the badges. The fatal piece of lead was shot by a ganger named José Luis.

The investigation was dropped and officers from the local precinct were told to back off. Pretty interesting turn of events, wouldn't you say? José must have some friends in high places.

Here's the deal - one of the officers wants José to be brought to justice, which is where you come in. If you happen to find out who's protecting the Valentino, I'll throw in extra. Good luck.

• Neutralize José Luis.
• Leave the depot.
  • (If Neutralized non-lethally): Carry José's body outside the depot.
• Call Padre.
