Occupational Hazard is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077.
Walkthrough[]
This gig is pretty straightforward, with your main concern being taking down a cyberpsycho, Anna Nox, before you can rescue Hal. Anna is equipped with Mantis Blades, so be wary to watch out for those if you decide to fight her head-on. She may also run around the room to a few designated spots, so if you plan to attack her with hacks while remaining hidden, keep that in mind while hiding.
Once she's down, you are safe to look around further. Note: there's a friendly but wounded Mox upstairs who will talk to you briefly about what happened, though if you haven't found Hal yet, she doesn't know specifically where he hid.
If you talk to the wounded Mox before taking out Anna, she will advise to hack into the Moxes' subnet to weaken the cyberpsycho.
Hal has hidden himself in the large blue shipping crate in the same room as the cyberpsycho. If you found the Mox upstairs and ask him about her, he'll note Regina will send someone over to help.
Journal Entry[]
- Got a cal from a Hal Cantos - guy's a known quantity in the area, crack BD tuner, used to work for WNS news 'til he got axed for fraud. His biz is strictly street now. Like it even matters...
- Hal's got himself in an interesting sich. He was turning a BD for The Mox and must've fucked up, 'cause one of the girls went off the handle after she put on the wreath - started screaming and shooting at everything that moved. Hal managed to find a place to hide, but it's only a matter of time before she gets him. You're gonna make sure that doesn't happen.
- Sending you the warehouse coordinate where Hal's holed up. Again, in case you missed it, there's an ACTIVE SHOOTER in the building. Go in with your iron at the ready. Eddies'll reach you only if Hal makes it out alive.
Objectives[]
- Enter the Mox warehouse.
- Neutralize the cyberpsycho.
- Hack into the Moxes' subnet to weaken the cyberpsycho. [Optional]
- Find Hal Cantos.
- Talk to Hal Cantos.
Notes[]
- Although you are dealing with a cyberpsycho in this quest, incapacitating the cyberpsycho will not count towards the Psycho Killer quest.
- Even if you do not kill but just incapacitate Anna Nox, V has the dialog option to tell the Mox lady upstairs that they killed Anna. There is no dialog option to tell them Anna is only unconscious, and Regina will make no mention of her either way.
