Template:Quote Firestorm Shockwave, subtitled, The Fourth Corporate War book Two, is a part adventurebook, part sourcebook for Cyberpunk 2020, and is the second part of the Firestorm series, bridging the gap between Cyberpunk 2020 and Cyberpunk v3.0.
The book details the main conflict of the Fourth Corporate War, the Hot War between Arasaka and Militech that started in Stormfront between OTEC and CINO. Both corporations are too intertwined with the worlds governments for them not to get involved too. The result of this war will rock the world to it's very core.
The first section of the book details in the introduction to the hot war, the background and the various players on either sides of the conflict. A Large portion of the book is dedicated to the weapons and technology on offer and how they can play out in the war. The final section is dedicated to the epic adventure which pits players up against Arasaka, as they join famed Solo Morgan Blackhand, Rockerboy Johnny Silverhand and his team consisting of Rogue, Shaitan, Thompson and Spider Murphy in assaulting the Arasaka HQ in Night City.
A Third book, Firestorm Aftershock was originally planed to be the final installment in the Firestorm series, however the book was cancelled and incorporated into Cyberpunk v3.0.
