Overview[]
Built at some point prior to the Unification War of 2069, El Camino del Mar was developed as an additional connection between the Night City districts of Heywood and Pacifica. This large infrastructure was constructed along the San Morro Bay seabed; the tunnel has a dual carriage road, with entrances found in Wellsprings and West Wind Estate. A couple of glass windows dot the ceiling of the infrastructure, allowing view of the bay above.[1]
Despite Pacifica being officially declared a combat zone in 2072, the tunnel still saw extensive use by 2077.[1]
