Overview[]
The Trench is located on the eponymous Del Coronado Bay, west of the metropolis of Night City. The Underwater store at the New Harbor Mallplex occasionally organized dive trips to the Trench from the Marina districts of Night City.
Around 2020, Hydrosubsidium opened a research facility on the shores of San Morro Bay from where they conducted secretive operations in the Trench. Although this was known to the public, what these operations entailed was not disclosed. Irene Stallis, a secretary at the local branch of Hydrosubsidium, knew everything about this secret project.[1]
