This is a reminder to all employees of the safety procedures in force here in the laboratory. ALWAYS wear a lab coat, gloves and mask. NO Net-connected devices within six feet of the safety zone. NO EXCEPTIONS. The final shift closes ALL valves, not just the ones in the control room. Check the fluid levels in the heat exchangers and BALANCE THEM IMMEDIATELY. I don't want any more instances of people checking it off the list when they HAVEN'T ACTUALLY DONE IT. No using implants or other distracting tech for non-work purposes.

Hello all, As you know, for the past few months I've been attempting to house the core and cooling system in a single element (currently storing them in our heat exchanger housing, but that's only a temporary solution). At the moment, the cooling system takes up too much space (particularly the steam generator - I've attached it externally, since we need to enlarge the housing anyway). However, the concept itself seems promising. If any of you has an idea how to decrease the size of the generator without reducing the level of heat transfer, please stop by my office.
