Cynosure Site D is a location in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Overview[]

Site D is an abandoned underground research facility that originally belonged to Militech. It mainly served as a reloading station for Cynosure Site C, and was connected to it in some way, as a group of researchers were able to go there from this place.[1]

In 2077, a section of Site D could be accessed from the underground tunnels in Dogtown, which were accessed via the elevator at Kress Street in Longshore Stacks.

2068[]

In 2068, a group of Militech employees excavated the facility to restart Project Cynosure. The three named employees involved were Caesar Mijares, Evan McRay, and Lisa Smith. However, by the 55th day of the expedition, Militech shut down the research.[2]

2077[]

In 2077, Bree Whitney hired V to help her break into Site D, which housed Cynosure data regarding Militech's research into weaponizing the Blackwall that Bree was looking for. However, the two were confronted by Dante Caruso, working as a Militech Special Agent. According to Dante, one of the original excavation agents, Caesar Mijares, had informed Bree of Site D, but was later assassinated by NetWatch to cover up anything related to Project Cynosure.[2]

Cynosure Site D is located within the underground section beneath Dogtown where V and Rosalind Myers initially escape the BARGHEST militia, but the entrance to the site is blocked off by concrete. The only way to access the facility is during the side job Shot by Both Sides. Access is blocked off again once the side job is complete.

The facility is littered with security turrets and traps left behind by the previous Militech occupants, with certain rooms requiring a keycard to access. Multiple terminals within the facility contains old emails predating the Fourth Corporate War.
