Crispin Weyland, also known by his nickname Squama, is an Afterlife mercenary and personal bodyguard of Rogue Amendiares.

Biography

Squama is the son of the legendary solo Andrew "Boa Boa" Weyland and a successful mercenary. Considered very similar to his father, especially in terms of his battle-readiness, he served as Rogue Amendiares's bodyguard at the Afterlife. Unlike his father, Crispin doesn't share the same aspirations of becoming a legend, intending to live a longer life.

If V let Johnny and Rogue go in Nocturne Op55N1:

Squama accompanied Rogue and V during an assault on Arasaka Tower. He piloted the AV on the way but shot down.

If Johnny and Rogue left Squama during the attack:

Squama died during the assault after the crash, he fought off Arasaka troops before finally being killed.

If Johnny and Rogue saved Squama during the attack:

After being saved he continued with Rogue and V into Arasaka Tower, before reaching Mikoshi's access point Adam Smasher confronted them and killed Rogue in the process. Squama and V fought Adam until he was finally defeated.

If V remained in their body after the Mikoshi in Path of Glory:

Squama later met with V at the Afterlife. Since V had taken over management, Weyland was their new boss.

Notes

• If spoken to just before entering Mikoshi during Knockin' on Heaven's Door, Crispin will refer to V as 'Silverman', indicating that during the job he became aware Johnny is still alive and inhabiting V's body.
