Disambig This article is about the location in Cyberpunk 2020 and RED. For other uses, see Medical Center (disambiguation).

Crisis Medical Center is a hospital building located in central Night City.

History[]

2010s - 2020s[]

Crisis Medical Center was one of Night City's public hospitals during the 2010s.[1][2]

By 2020, this medical center was considered one of the most advanced modern-day trauma centers in the world. Many of its surgeons were war veterans from the Central American Wars, as such, they were fast and efficient at their jobs. They also took in any critical cases from the UFC Health Sciences Center. Some overflow clientele from this hospital was redirected to the City Medical Center, as well as any critical cases in which insurance covered the stay. The building also included AV landing pads on the roof.[2][3]

2030s - 2040s[]

The Crisis Medical Center barely escaped the Fourth Corporate War, and after the shifting of the city district borders, the hospital found itself inside the borders of the Old Japantown Combat Zone. During the Time of the Red, it suffered from lower-level flooding and regular disruption of services such as water, power, and communications. The remaining hospitals in the city were also the last opportunity for major surgery and the ability to handle the periodic plague outbreaks that were common in the period following the Night City Holocaust. Due to the overflow in the main medical centers, many people shifted to use ripperdoc clinics instead.

By the 2040s, Crisis Medical Center was supplied with the most advanced technology, despite being located within a Combat Zone. Frequented by edgerunners and gangsters alike, the medical center accepted any patients with no questions asked, and was considered a neutral zone for all factions.[4]
