The Counter Intelligence Associates Building was located in the Upper Eastside district of Night City.
Overview[]
This building, shaped like a stylized classic Barasan VS-7 (a car made popular by the 3-D Bond flicks in the early 2000's), contained the area's experts in industrial espionage. They advertised themselves as practitioners of counter-surveillance, but their reps could be hired as 'consultants' to assist with other, less ethical operations. Any spy gadget could be bought here. Infrared driving assemblies to foil oil sprayers, bug detectors, gas bombs hidden in ballpoint pens, you name it, and if they didn't have it, they would make it. They could even redo your car.
CIA would not not deign to give you a catalog or quote prices unless you were a corp of some resource. They didn't even have a catalog of their offensive hardware, and would not admit that any such stuff existed. And, to avoid compromising their clients, consulting reps would never associate in any way with their clients' competitors.[1]
