Cassius Ryder is a Ripperdoc in Cyberpunk 2077.
Biography[]
Cassius Ryder is a well-known ripperdoc and a tattoo artist in Night City. In his early life he personally knew famous rocker, Johnny Silverhand.[1] Some time later he got his own clinic and tattoo salon, located on Pershing Street in Northside, Watson, and created his own chain of ripperdoc clinics, all going under the name Doc Ryder.
By 2077, he was very well connected with Night City's mercenary world, as well as fixer Wakako Okada[2] and being known in the Afterlife circles.[3] He benefited from the MaxTac raid on a black ripperdoc clinic located nearby, as the people that used to visit them for services now had to rely on him instead.
If V drove Jesse Johnson to Ryder's Clinic in time:
- Jesse Johnson came to Cassius to fix a problem with his malfunctioning implant. The operation was a success.[4]
If V visited Wakako Okada to settle their debt for the rescue of Sandra Dorsett:
- Wakako Okada told V to get a Tyger Claws dermal imprint from Cassius as a gift.[2]
If V allowed Johnny to take over their body to talk to Rogue Amendiares:
- Johnny (in V's body) asked about Cassius at the Afterlife, visiting him that same night to get a tattoo and information on Adam Smasher. Cassius revealed that there was a rumor that Jeremiah Grayson was currently working for Smasher. Cassius directed Johnny to Ruby Collins, a girl he had seen who had a subsequent relationship with Grayson.[3]
