Camden Court was an apartment complex located in central Night City.

Overview[]

2010s - 2020[]

At least since the early 2010s, these high-priced apartments were favored by solos and corporates, with the prices reflecting the amount of security in the complex. In 2013, renting an apartment here cost around 3,000eb per month.[1][2]

With two online netrunners, reinforced guard posts replete with miniguns and enough sensory equipment to build a supercomputer, its residents felt they could relax, with the solos usually carrying only one or two small weapons while visiting their neighbors in the complex. The security force was composed by tenants in its entreaty, and as up-and-coming solos, they had a great stake in keeping the area secure, though this had resulted in some unfortunate "accidents" involving saki-sloshed patrons from the neighboring Hari Kiri Sushi Bar.

Due to the the number of ranking NCPD officers who lived in this complex in 2020, incident reports were covered up very quickly.[2]

2040s[]

By the 2040s, Camden Court had been even more heavily reinforced. This ritzy apartment complex on the northern side of Night City was favored by solos for its truly staggering physical and NET security. Only a mad-person would try to break into Camden Court without a full corporate assault team.[3] A restaurant lounge had also been set up on the building's rooftop, overlooking much of the city.[4]
