The Carnage is a Power Shotgun manufactured by Budget Arms in Cyberpunk 2077.

Characteristics[]

Cyber-Rough Neighborhood? Try the Carnage™, a metal spewing beast that will literally blow an intruder [...] along with the rest of his body! 20 pellets of depleted uranium rounds will make short work out of anything vaguely human-like!

 — Budget Arms advertisement, Cyberpunk 2077

The Carnage is a cheap, 4 gauge[1] pump action shotgun, capable of holding 4 shells with 10 projectiles each. It is a powerful weapon but suffers from a slow fire rate and reload speed.

As the Carnage is a heavy weapon, the user will experience reduced movement speed and jump height.

It is not possible to install a Scope or Muzzle attachment.

Budget Arms Carnage

BUDGET ARMS CARNAGE

There are weapons that are subtle, weapons that are elegant and weapons capable of hitting their targets with surgical precision. Budget Arms' Carnage possesses none of those qualities. Its designers followed one simple rule: bigger is better. The result? The Carnage is massive, deals ridiculous amounts of damage and has a recoil that could pop your shoulder right out of its socket. Without the right cyberware, such as an endoskeleton or carbonweave muscle implants, you're better off choosing more conventional alternatives. It's worth remembering that the Carnage isn't a very reliable weapon – it likes to break, and what's more, it's not weighted properly. Then again, people who go for this kind of iron usually don't notice those little details.[2]
