Bruce Skiv was the local crime boss of the Mob in Night City.
Biography[]
Bruce Skiv was a fixer turned mob boss who during the 1990s made a name for himself along the West Coast of the United States of America as a corporate manager. As the head of the Skiv Family mob, Bruce had multiple businesses, one of them the construction company known as Halsey, Ferris & Skiv, whom Night City's founder, Richard Night, had once been part of. During the construction of said city, Skiv and other mob bosses brought their construction companies to Night City. Slowly but surely, they managed to take root in the metropolis, influencing the local government and authorities. During the 2000s, the Night City mafia lived their golden age.
It was during the Mob War of 2009 when the megacorporations fought back to take control of the city, ending the mob rule by 2011. Bruce managed to keep his position and slowly begun to rebuild his power from Little Italy, where his family still had great influence.
By 2020, the Boss could usually be found at Balboa's, the Chrome Ring or at Beppo's. Every morning his routine consisted of a daily shave at Guido's. Bruce also had a niece named Lynn Skiv, who was extremely troublesome in terms of his day to day affairs.[2]
In 2028, Bruce died and a memorial was built in Heywood. By 2077, the memorial was now part of Santo Domingo. Despite the multiple graffiti, the structure still stood.[1]
