Look out, choom! Spoilers from Tales of the RED: Hope Reborn ahead!

We care about how you get high.

 — Breeze advertisement, Tales of the RED: Hope Reborn

Breeze is located in Woodland Park, in the New Westbrook suburb of Night City.

Overview[]

Breeze is a recreational substances shop in Woodland Park. It is owned and operated by Nana and Pop Pop, who cook their own products in the basement's kitchen. The building is not very large, with the store area set up like a tiny bar; instead of usual tables it uses a few polished oil drums for those partaking in the store's products. Other than a fridge filled with Smash behind the counter, the shelves showcase a variety of home-made recreational drugs.

Nana takes care of the selling, often chatting up with customers about any topic — from their own drugs to regular pie recipes or from best comedown cushions to even relationship advices. Periodically, Pop Pop appears from the basement with a new batch of supplies to sell.[1]

History[]

Pop Pop and Nana moved to Night City many years ago after the later was transferred to the local Biotechnica offices. However, Nana never liked the nine-to-nine life, so she retired early. With their savings, the couple opened the Breeze, a recreational substance shop with the motto "we care about how you get high." Soon enough, half of Woodland Park adopted them as their unofficial grandparents. Like the business next door, a convenience store called Burning Bright Bodega, Breeze also began relying on a network of skateboarding kids to offer local deliveries.[2][1]

In 2045, a group of Albino Alligators led by Tarquin decided Woodland Park was the future of investment in Night City, only needing the locals to sell. When the initial threats didn't work out, she targeted the delivery kids. Ella Corella, owner of the Burning Bright Bodega, talked with the neighboring businesses and hired a group of mercenaries to handle the situation before it worsened. Pop Pop and Nana informed the mercs about the Alligators, whom they considered more of a hindrance rather than a threat. Whether they succeeded or not it was up to the mercs.[1]
