Unlocking Blistering Love can sometimes be ignored by the player as it needs a specific dialogue with Silverhand during the last phase of Chippin' In. During the conversation with the Rockerboy in the Northern Oilfields choose either of the following:

Option 1 - This one is the quickest.

• "A hard road, but looks like we made it." / "Johnny, no need to bare your soul to me."

Option 2 - These additionally unlock the secret ending.

• "Nah, fucked that up too."
• "What do you want from me?"
• "Ok. But as second chances go, this is your last."

If you used the right dialogue during Chippin' In, Johnny will ask you to call Rogue on his behalf to ask her out on a date to try and make up for never taking her out properly in the past. Call Rogue up and she'll quickly provide where to have the date: Silver Pixel Cloud drive-in theatre.

Rogue will be in front of the Afterlife at 8:15 PM, chatting with Emmerick. Note you don't need to arrive in a car beforehand, as if you recovered Johnny's Porsche, it'll automatically spawn and Rogue will comment on seeing it. After picking her up, drive to the Silver Pixel Cloud.

Journal Entry

Can't even remember why Rogue and I were always at each other's throats. All I remember is the good times - and how few of them there were. Now I've got one night to make it up to her. Yeah, a movie date sounds boring, but hell, we never did normal, boring things. Better late than never, right?

Objectives

• Call Rogue and ask her out.
• Talk to Rogue.
• Go pick up Rogue at the Afterlife in the evening.
• Talk to Rogue.
• Get in the car.
• Go to the drive-in movie theater with Rogue.
• Talk to Rogue.
• If you have not done Fool on the Hill:
  • Find a way in the drive-in movie theater.
  • Use code 0000 to unlock the door.
• Enter the drive-in movie theater.
• Get into the projection booth.
• Search the storage area.
• Take the pills to give Johnny control.
• Talk to Johnny.

• The title of this job comes from the Samurai song "Blistering Love".
• The player cannot be harmed during the mission.
