Biography[]
8ug8ear was a skilled Netrunner living in Japantown, Westbrook, Night City. She is an associate of Wakako Okada and the Tyger Claws. At some point before 2077, she wrote and published an opinion piece critiquing the after-effects of the DataKrash brought about by Rache Bartmoss.
2077[]
In 2077, she was working together with Norimasa, a Tyger Claw member, to try and steal tech from a Kiroshi Optics warehouse job. The gig had her remotely hack the Kiroshi van and cut the alarms for the Tyger Claws to get access to the gear. However, 8ug8ear remotely drove out the van packed with high-end gear and abandoned them inside. The gang members survived and next day they pulled up to her apartment wanting to know where she had stashed the tech. 8ug8ear was desperate, and escaped to the Net, shrouding herself within software that would flatline her if they tried to disconnect her. The Tyger Claws began waiting patiently as she couldn't stay like that for long. 8ug8ear was attempting to get help from Z3d, another Netrunner, who wasn't willing to help until she told him where the Kiroshi van was hidden, but their conversation was cut short when Z3d was killed by Tyger Claws who discovered his location. Wakako Okada then notified a merc named V to save her from gang before her time ran out.
