Batty's Hotel is located in Coastview, in the Pacifica district of southern Night City.
Overview[]
Constructed around the district's redevelopment during the 2060s, Batty's was supposed to be a luxurious hotel in northern Pacifica. The Unification War made corporations pull out their investments and as a result the hotel was abandoned. Over the following years, Batty's was subsequently settled by the locals, turning it into a communal marketplace. Parts of the hotel were also occupied by the Voodoo Boys gang, who turned it into their base of operations.[1][2]
In 2077, V traveled here as part of their quest of finding more information about the Relic, a place where they met Placide and Brigitte.[1]
Database Entry[]
BATTY'S HOTEL
Once a luxury hotel located in the north of Pacifica, now a bustling, repurposed market teeming with goods and information being traded within the Haitian community. Given the Voodoo Boys' low-key presence in the hotel, it's better not to show up there alone or uninvited.[1]
Trivia[]
- The hotel is named after the character Roy Batty from the 1982 film Blade Runner. The logo features one of the origami figures from the film, and inside the hotel a plaque can be found with a quote from the character.
