The Barstow Enterprises Complex was located in the Upper Eastside district of Central Night City.
Overview[]
BE was a trucking firm that based their operation out of these buildings. On most days, ten to twenty trucks made pickups and deliveries here. The garage and loading dock were unfortunately located right next to the entrance to the Slammer. Although somewhat tolerant of the rowdy punks that patronized that bar, many of the truckers were not discreet in voicing their opinions, which led to ocassional altercations. Some of the trucks sported little pedestrian symbols on the drivers door.
The northeast building in this complex was the office which contained BE's dispatch system, financial records, etc. The three buildings providing a buffer zone between the office and the Slammer were all warehouses containing merchandise of little worth to boosters. For example, the largest building was a large refrigerated warehouse with wholesale amounts of liver pate, caviar, cream cheese with raspberry's and other foodstuffs gang members wouldn't be caught dead eating. The other warehouses contained merchandise for area markets, large heavy items like refrigerators and other items of little interest to the true cyberpunks.[1]
