Aurore Cassel is a netrunner in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
Biography[]
A French netrunner, Aurore Cassel and her twin brother Aymeric have worked for various high-profile clients in France and Western Europe under their collective pseudonym "Skylight". At an indeterminate time they were hired by Militech to reactivate the secretive Project Cynosure, with the goal of capturing and harnessing powerful AIs from beyond the Blackwall. They also did various jobs for the criminal underworld of France and Western Europe, although such work was not without consequences--Aurore ended up in a stint at Paris's high-security La Santé Prison for five years, and ultimately had a bounty placed on her head by a French crime syndicate.
In 2077, Aurore and her brother were invited by the mercenary warlord Kurt Hansen to help with activating the Neural Matrix, a piece of Militech/Project Cynosure technology unearthed beneath Night City's Combat Zone, Dogtown.[1] Along the way they had their identities stolen by the mercenary V and the FIA sleeper agent Alena Xenakis. In the process, she and her brother are killed by both Alena and fellow FIA agent Solomon Reed.[2]

The more fiery half of the of the netrunner duo that go by the name of Skylight in cyberspace. Relatively wealthy by birth, formally educated, but perpetually insatiable, she craves adventure, excitement and unusual experiences, which first pushed her to work - then lock horns - with the French criminal organization known as the Collective. Along the way, there was some time done in the VIP wing of "La Santé" prison, work for Militech on the Cynosure project and, of course, the numerous hacking assignments she undertook with her twin brother on the side. Today, however, she's entertaining Kurt Hansen himself. And tomorrow? Maybe one of the fashion shows she so loves to attend? A visit to Tokyo, London, Paris? Or maybe another dangerous assignment for dangerous peeps? Who knows what tomorrow will bring...

- If V is female, Aurore's identity is the one used by the player during the mission Birds with Broken Wings.
- Aurore is a fan of Kerry Eurodyne's style. One possible dialogue option for V to select during their meeting with Kurt Hansen is that Aurore was searching for Eurodyne's stylist at the Black Sapphire's party.
- She was born with GJB2 hearing loss, but underwent gene therapy.
