Disambig This article is about Quartz "Bandit". For other variants, see Archer Quartz.

Archer's cooperation with the legendary racer Billy "Bandit" McCarty gave us this limited-edition masterpiece designed to reign the streets.

 — Quartz "Bandit", Cyberpunk 2077

The Quartz "Bandit" is a customized vehicle manufactured by Archer in Cyberpunk 2077. Included as one of the free DLC in Patch 1.3.

Overview[]

The limited-edition Quartz Bandit's got all you'd expect from an automotive icon: classic soul, nova style and enough horsepower to leave all those other gonks chompin' on your dust. You know, the type of ride to make the "rules" of the road seem more like... silly suggestions. Wanna take her for a spin? Help Panam in Rocky Ridge, then wait a few days for your fixer to whip you the deets.[1]

Database Entry[]

ARCHER QUARTZ "BANDIT"

When Archer invited racing legend Billy "Bandit" McCarty to revamp the Quartz, they hoped to improve on the tried and tested formula of their classic sports car. What they got far exceeded even the company engineers' wildest pipe dreams. The Bandit instantly won the hearts of Night City's drag racers, ending Quadra's dominance on the scene virtually overnight. Though not as slick and flashy as the Turbo-R or the Type-66, the Bandit boasts two elements that make it a cult classic: enough horsepower to outrun any other dragster and heaps of soul. When asked what he sees of himself in the model, McCarty supposedly stated that once you take the Bandit's wheel, well - you can't help but commit a traffic violation or three.[1]

Acquisition[]

The Bandit can be obtained by two different ways depending on the choices made during Ghost Town.

If V agrees with Panam to go after Nash:

It can be acquired from the AUTOFIXER netpage for €$69,000.

If V decides not to go after Nash:

It is obtained for free after receiving a message from Rogue Amendiares, who thanks V for their professionalism.

Message[]

"Hey, good thing you didn't indulge Panam's appetite for frontier justice. Dropping Nash would've solved diddly squat. Besides, sooner or later the Raffens woulda tried to get payback. Don't worry, she understand soon enough. One last thing, V. I know how to reward professionalism, loyalty - traits that a certain someone evidently lacked. That reward's called a Quartz Bandit and it now belongs to you. Sending you the coords..."

 — Rogue Amendiares, Cyberpunk 2077

Notes[]

  • Due to lack of a trunk, the Stash cannot be accessed.
  • This car is not a requirement of the Autojock achievement.
  • Prior to the introduction of AUTOFIXER, Dakota Smith sold the car via a text message: "Hello, V. By a stroke of fate, a Quartz Bandit has landed in my lap. The city boy who bought her must have thought he would rule the streets, but his abilities behind the wheel proved just the opposite. He bet her on his first race and ended up walking home by foot. Now she belongs to me. Don't let appearances fool you - some claim there's no faster machine suited to the Badlands... in the right hands, of course. Legend has it that the one and only Billy "Bandit" MaCarty worked on this model, with Archer releasing only a handful units onto the market. I've sent you her coordinates - it would be a shame not to seize this opportunity."

Trivia[]

  • The name of Archer Quartz "Bandit" is a reference to the 1977 movie Smokey and the Bandit.
