Arcadiex is one of the larger agricorps in Cyberpunk 2020[1].

North Dakota Consortium[]

Together with Petrochem and New East Asia Agricultural, Arcadiex formed a consortium that owns the majority of land in North Dakota and established a Corporate legislature that runs the state. All the laws in place exist to protect the interest of these three corporations and to mitigate any potential conflict between them. Together, they control everything in the sate, and have effectively turned it into a one-industry state solely devoted to grain production.[1]

Mississippi Cotton Farming[]

When Mississippi Governor Carol Holmes raised the transportation taxes that set the rates for the state-owned trucking firm Arcadiex relied upon to move their goods, Aracadiex deducted the difference from what they were paying in land taxes. In response, Governor Holmes threatened to shut down their whole cotton operation and Arcadiex sent in a platoon of Corporate solos who entered into a stand-off with the state police who blocked the Corporates from leaving the farm.[1] The German agricorp Ackermacht saw an opportunity and moved into South Carolina to build the Corporate town of Grenfeld, which they intended to use both to get a share in the cotton profits themselves and to lower prices in doing so, weakening Arcadiex's standing in their clash with the Mississippi state government. If it utilized all of its resources, Arcadiex had the power to cripple the state of Mississippi, but that would risk the NUSA endorsing a hostile takeover and allowing a rival corporation—like Ackermacht—to come in and take over their cotton sites in the state for defaulting on their taxes. Arcadiex was very aware of the threat nearby rivals like Ackermacht posed, and bankrolled felons going into to Grenfeld to disrupt happenings in Grenfeld by any means possible, be that through social disturbances or drug dealing and violence.[1]
