The Arasaka Memorial is a location in the Corporate Plaza of Night City.

Overview[]

Arasaka repurposed a portion of the original building to create this memorial. Situated at the base of Arasaka Tower, this facility commemorates the victims of the AHQ Disaster that perished in the nuclear explosion.[1]

The overall structure carries a sombre and regretful tone. Part of the original building is preserved with a suspended glass walkway allowing the public to view the remains of the lobby following the blast, and recreated offices and conference rooms make use of red lighting and holographic fire effects to simulate the aftermath of the explosion. The ruins are protected from damage and trespassing from visitors by glass walls. A public address system in Japanese, English, Spanish, and Chinese provides information about the bombing and reminds visitors to be respectful.

The exterior consists of a large, darkly coloured courtyard, featuring tiered columbarium and a fountain facing MLK Underpass. Buddhist monks have set up a shrine outside the entrance to the ruins.[2]

Associated Quests[]

Notes[]

  • The Tarot Card "The Tower" can be found here.
  • Inside the memorial site, the player can find a door locked by a keypad. By entering the code "2023" (the year of the Night City Holocaust), the player gains access to the secret "dev room" which has a list of names scrolling on glass. These names are those of the developers who worked on Cyberpunk 2077.
