The HJKE-11 Yukimura (Japanese: 幸村) is a Smart Pistol manufactured by Arasaka in Cyberpunk 2077.

Characteristics[]

Tthe Yukimura is a small, compact pistol based on Arasaka's trusted weapon platform. The weapon's magazine holds 30 rounds, which are placed horizontally in the clip. The Yukimura has been outfitted with a Smart targeting system, allowing for locking on to targets and permitting shots to be fired with minimal aiming required from its user and a small digital display has been attached to the left side of the frame to allow the user to see how many rounds are remaining inside the magazine.

In order to use the weapon's Smart targeting system, Smart Link cyberware is required to be installed in the user's palm.

Due to the addition of the Smart targeting system, it is not possible to install an additional Scope or a Muzzle attachment.

ARASAKA HJKE-11 YUKIMURA

Back in the day, soldiers had to go through weeks of combat training. Crazy, right? Nowadays, Smart guns can automatically lock onto targets and fire homing rounds – all you need are the right implants. It was a pistol that started the smart revolution – the Yukimura, issued in the 2040s by Arasaka. With the Yukimura, you could shoot as poorly as the robots in a certain late 20th-century epic space opera and still hit your target with 100% accuracy. Even now, over thirty years later, the Yukimura is still considered one of the best handguns ever made. It boasts two firing modes – automatic and three-round burst – that allows its users to adapt to the situation, as well as an ample magazine for prolonged firefights.[1]

Trivia[]

  • Like many Arasaka-manufactured weapons, the name is a reference to a famous Japanese warlord. In this case, it is Sanada Nobushige "Yukimura".
  • The Yukimura's variant, Genjiroh, is also a reference to Yukimura's alternate romanticized name.
