Anna Nox is a Mox leader and manager of a Mox warehouse on Longshore North, she suffered cyberpsychosis upon experiencing a braindance featuring the suffering and death of a Mox protectee.

Biography[]

Anna worked at Lizzie's Bar and managed a nearby Mox warehouse. Following the death of a fellow Mox, she commenced with her own private investigation into the crime that had taken place. Starting with an XBD, Anna's associate Lil Bex, contracted the crack-BD-tuner Hal Cantos. Hal was required to quickly isolate code from the XBD containing the death of a girl under the Moxes care, consequently allowing the investigators to trace the source of the XBD's creation.

According to one of two surviving eyewitness statements, Anna screamed in a way nobody had ever heard before while viewing the isolated AV, prior to attacking everyone in sight with her Higurashi 20-13 Mantis Blades. Lil Bex was the first to die, while Hal managed to hide in a shipping container for the duration of the event.

All of the Moxes are linked to the same localnet, so it is possible to disable some of Anna's cyberware by linking into the deceased. A Mox survivor of the attack, while advising linking cyberware, also notes that the only foreseen solution for Anna is to kill her, however, sparing her may help Regina's investigation into the cure for cyberpsychosis.

Notes[]

  • Prior to Gig: Occupational Hazard, Anna can be seen working as a bouncer at Lizzie's Bar.
  • Her condition is blamed on Hal messing up the AV isolation, rather than the content of the XBD itself.
  • Even if you do not kill but just incapacitate Anna Nox in Gig: Occupational Hazard, the Mox girl upstairs will react as if V had killed her. Regina will also make no mention of her either way.
