Around 2020, Zee-Night was a radio station in Night City that operated out of an office in Studio City. It broadcasted all over the metropolis, and was considered one of the most progressive and successful local radio stations at that time.
Consecutively for the last three years, Zee-Night's format of high power rock and its late night interview/talk radio concept kept it in the forefront of the local audio industry. Many rockers who had gone on to great fame were first heard on Zee-Night's spotlight show for new local talent. The show was hosted by ex-rockergirl Renee Reynard, a famous rock star in the European scene who after losing her voice, retired. A year later, her name resurfaced in Night City, as she had become the late night host of Z-KNT radio. Renee's knowledge of music and the inner workings of the industry gave her the edge over her competitors. While surgery didn't return her singing voice, the husky, yet low dulcet quality of her speech, alongside her subtle French accent proved to be irresistible to the listeners around Night City. All these qualities were perfect for the station's "insider" format.[1]
