The Monowire is a piece of Arms Cyberware manufactured by Kendachi appearing in Cyberpunk 2077.

Overview[]

This arms modification relies on a unique battery-reliant mechanic which distinguishes the severity of its attacks. Depending on the level of charge, the damage dealt will change, that too, in a directly proportional manner. Each attack executed however, will consume a portion of the charge, emptying the battery for about a fifth per light attack and up to a full charge for heavy attacks. To recharge the battery, the Monowire needs to stay equipped, although not being used.[1]

Uninterrupted light attacks are capable of building a combo up to 5, while holding the attack button charges for a strong attack. The Monowire is capable of blocking as well, although using a fast attack during blocking will execute a regular light hit. Each attack has a 10/15/20% to leave the target with a Status Effect depending on the equipped damage type.

The Monowire gains +3 damage for every level in Reflexes, and is affected by the perks in the Blades skill tree.

  • The "Monowire" also bears similarities to the "Slice N' Dice" cyberware introduced in Cyberpunk 2020.
