I remember near the beginning of the game where there was a Talk Show with that one girl from Chip In and a Pastor/Priest, they were talking about the Relic and having a somewhat debate if you will. This little segment really interested me and was I kind of split in between the two arguments. On one hand, I agree the Relic and the Secure Your Soul program is fascinating and amazing how they accomplished such a technological marvel. Being able to speak to people who passed on, with their memories and personality intact is kind of awesome. But I also agreed with the priest in that it is creepy and disturbing in many ways.
This was another area I thought was really well done. I mean it is up to perspective, if people willingly sign onto the program to be in Mikoshi it is their choice and not something forced on them. For people like Johnny Silverhand who got trapped there as a prisoner, well I mean he did destroy Arasaka Tower and many employees, so it's deserved in a way.
I find the idea of Mikoshi to be both awesome and disturbing. But I'd love to hear others thoughts if possible.
