I came back into V's apartment (and if it matters: with Johnny at 85% approval) and Johnny said 'Finally' and wanted to discuss Alt as well as Rogue. I'm not sure where it belongs but I suspect it's tied into Chippin' In.. However I'm not sure. Anyone else who's got this debate with Johnny and who can pinpoint more exactly when it unlocks?

Why is no one saying anything about the fact that today is the day that Johnny bombed Arasaka tower?!?

If u enabled Johnny alternate look will in flashback be wearing his alternate look ?

I was really looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 since its announcement. Even though I was disappointed by the changes they made, my biggest problem was Silverhand. The beginning of the game is incredible, you are V, the main character trying to make his own history. Unfortunately, after V gets the Silverhand chip the story goes completely downhill. V is no longer the protagonist, now everything is about Silverhand. He even has more "romances" than V.

I think that once they hired Keanu, they completely changed the game story in order to use Keanu as much as they could. The whole Silverhand chip should have been nothing more than a side quest. The developers had even stated that you did not have to deal with Silverhand in order to complete the game. Now, they can't even use V in a sequel because the only time he lives is (SPOILERS) when Silverhand takes over the body.

Do you agree? Would you have preferred Silverhand's story to be a side quest?

As I'm sure most of us know, CDPR is keeping radio silent about what is in store for Cyberpunk as they work on free DLC and paid expansions. And I mean SILENT.

While I appreciate the choice to not overhype their work (late though it may be), I think CDPR should try to manage expectations soon. At this point it's starting to feel like they're either scorned by the negative reactions and being somewhat passive-agressively quiet, or they're not confident in their ability to deliver what they set out to do, and therefore refuse to lock themselves into specifics.

All the while, players like myself are left to imagine and speculate, which reminds me a lot of where we were pre-launch. We all have a wish-list for this game, and I kinda wish CDPR would finally let us know how much of the game's potential they intend to realize. And I don't mean monetary potential, I mean gameplay systems and features.

Of course, I don't think they will spell it out for us just yet. You can't please everybody, and if they confirm what the DLC will be, they also indirectly confirm what it won't be, which will inevitably cause some number of players to jump ship for good. I think they'll be more than happy to use the silence we asked for to keep us waiting around for a year, two - or more, only to learn that we'll get some of what they advertised, and still less than we imagined.

But as I said, we have our imaginations. We know what features *should* or *could* be there, we have our "It'd be cool if..." lists written. But we also have leaks. It's always a crapshoot whether they turn out to be credible, but it's something.

If the leak from a month or so ago which includes content we now have from update 1.3 ends up being true, it's possible we'll end up with:

- A character appearance editor (unclear to what extent. Could be the same as the character creator at start. It could be just changing hair, makeup, scars only. Or it could be all the above plus new cosmetic cyberware for the hands, face, and neck. I doubt it, though.)

- new gigs in Japantown, Kabuki, Arroyo - new weapon packs of already existing weapon types

- a new game plus

- new poses for Johnny in photo mode (woohooo! Not)

- something called mFinish (could be vehicle customization as in "Mirror finish?" Or maybe it means they'll half-ass the "Mirror" DLC then add more later on)

- something called Monster (which I expect is a new vehicle, and not a "monster" size overhaul)

- and "Apart" (which people guess is something to do with customizing V's apartment. Likely a way to change the color/texture of surfaces like floors and counters and walls).

How do we feel about the prospect of that being the totality of the free DLC for Cyberpunk? If you think that leaks should be disregarded altogether, should we expect more than what was listed, or less?

P.s., I understand most of us here are actually enjoying the game as is, myself included. But we know the game isn't finished and there's content incoming, so let's talk about the road ahead.

Wish V/Johnny could finish the date with Rogue; I know I wouldn't mind hooking up with 80 year old granny Rogue.

Hey, everyone. First off, long time player, first time visitor.

Anyway, i don't know if anyone else thought of this, but what if CD added some DLC mainly focusing on Keanu Reeves (A.K.A Jonny Silverhand) on the highlight of his career? Probably some kind of gear and weapons pack (like Cyberwear that can allow you to run on walls)? DLC expansion? Net Runner Life Path with a special exclusive quest? What do you think?

Wanted to have some fun speculation time. So here's the deal Johnny Silverhand is put into V's head because she gets killed by Dex and the Relic brings her back but also has her brain reconstructed for Johnny. It does this because it was a prototype for an alternate version of the Relic for Saburo Arasaka himself so he can have his mind transfered over to a new body after he dies. This all made perfect sense, but here's one question, why was Johnny Silverhand on that biochip?

In Saburo's diary he mentions he didn't remember Johnny till reaching NC after decades. And considering he was a huge enemy of Arasaka why put him on the chip, testing is a possible answer, but I'm not convinced.

Here's the scoop, would it be possible that Saburo had nothing to do with it? Maybe It was Yorinobu who did? Here's my thought process, Netwatch needed to find the rogue troublesome AI al la Alt Cunningham, they figured a way to lure her was with an attachment to her past. Yorinobu knowing this probably stole the Relic from the labs, took it to Mikoshi and downloaded Johnny Silverhand engram onto it, so that he could sell it to Netwatch. He's motivation is both for removing his father's project and for trying to sabotage the program as a whole.

He probably didn't think too hard being an impulsive guy. So when his father confronted him, he probably reached his boiling point and killed him there improvising his father's death and his takeover on the Arasaka empire.

Or maybe he never intended to give the Relic and only planned to lure his father and have a heist cooked up with his confidant Evelyn Parker, that would get people to steal the biochip the night of the heist and Yorinobu would have the perfect excuse for his father's death. --- Okay maybe this part is far fetched.

Who has played it? And how was it? I bought the set and the core manual, i would like some opinions if ye don't mind!

So in the ending where you side with Arasaka, the reward is Johnny's tank top and aviators.

The Arasaka ending shows a betrayal of Johnny.

This means that if you build up your bond with Johnny, the game refuses to reward you for betraying him.

Would be neat if more of these kind of stuff could be random and we see just Japanese style parades go through Japantown. But guess that might just take too much effort wouldn't it. I love Night City, it's the most consistent enjoyment I get from the game, I really want the developers to add more stuff in the city. Like clubs, restaurants, bars, stores, and more places we can enter and awe at. A lot of areas are closed off till you do missions and then you can visit. Need more things! Give me my underground hostesses clubs in Japantown. Give me some more places to visit!
